Drew Barrymore says she can give birth “any minute” now.
The 39-year-old actress is currently carrying her second child with husband Will Kopelman.
And although she is very pregnant, she isn’t worried about going into labour.
“I’m doing great. I feel good,” she told Access Hollywood at CinemaCon in Las Vegas while promoting her new film with Adam Sandler, Blended.
“It could happen any minute technically, but I feel great. I feel awesome.”
Barrymore married art consultant Kopelman in June 2012 and they welcomed daughter Olive in September of the same year.
The star is comfortable this time around, as she has already been in the maternity ward.
“I feel very calm. I do,” she said. “I was nervous on my first one, but this one I feel much calmer.”
She has previously insisted she can’t wait for Olive to meet her little sister.
The actress believes Olive is already proving she will be a loving and loyal sibling.
“She just really loves babies and kids,” Barrymore revealed to People magazine. “I have her in a lot of classes I like when she’s so open-hearted to people and her surroundings.”
The Wedding Singer star also revealed she recently expanded the family circle by getting a puppy. Barrymore admits her husband thought she was crazy for getting a dog when they are preparing to have another baby.
“Our plate is so full right now,” she revealed to the publication. “I got a puppy while pregnant with the toddler and my husband was like, ‘You are insane!’ I was like, ‘I am!’ I mean, let it rain. When it rains, it pours. That was my mentality.”
